NDIS Transport Services
NDIS Transportation in Adelaide & Perth
The NDIS will generally allow transportation to be funded as part of your NDIS plan if you are unable to use public transport without substantial difficulty. NDIS funding can cover transportation in a support worker’s vehicle or if you are wheelchair-bound, you may be issued with a taxi card to access specialised modified vehicles called access cabs, equipped with access ramps, lifts and rails etc. Even if you are not using our transportation service, we are happy to help you schedule or accompany you in an access cab.

Anyone with a Home Care package can access our transportation services. Transport is provided by our Support Workers who undergo both specialist driver training and disability training to ensure we offer the highest levels of service and assistance.

What types of transportation services do you offer for individuals with disabilities and elderly individuals?
We offer a range of transportation services tailored to the needs of individuals with disabilities and elderly individuals. This includes door-to-door transportation, accompanied trips and flexible scheduling options.
Are your vehicles wheelchair accessible?
At the moment KompleteCare do not have special access vehicles but we can safely transport passengers with limited mobility or those who use mobility aids. Our fleet of special access vehicles equipped with ramps and lifts will be available very soon so watch this space.
Can I use NDIS or Home Care funding for transportation services?
Yes, transportation services are included with all Home Care packages and may be funded as part of your NDIS plan if you are unable to use public transport without substantial difficulty. We can work with you to determine if your NDIS funding can be used to cover transportation costs. If you are unsure if your funding covers transportation, your personally assigned Client Services Manager can assist you in understanding your plan and funding.

Absolutely. Our trained support workers are dedicated to providing assistance and support throughout your journey. Whether you need help boarding and disembarking the vehicle or assistance with carrying groceries, we’re here to help.
What safety measures do you have in place for your transport services?
Your safety is our top priority. All support workers using their own vehicles undergo specialist driver training and are required to undertake regular maintenance on their vehicles and have appropriate insurance to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our clients.
