KompleteCare is kicking off an electrifying Day Options Program tailored especially for NDIS and Home Care Package participants. There are many positive benefits associated with KompleteCare’s Day Option program such as increasing social and community participation, improved language and development, and expanding communication skills.

Building essential skills, promoting independence and fostering meaningful connections

Our main goals at Komplete Care are to work with participants to develop their skills and increase their independence. We have collaborated with Support Coordinators, Client Services Managers and clients to create a program that offers a variety of activities to maintain and learn new life skills, engage with the community and increase relationship building skills within a social setting.

Our stellar team of KompleteCare Home Support Workers, all rigorously trained and immensely passionate, will be at the forefront, ensuring every moment counts. And guess what? We have a sweet 4:1 care ratio to make sure you’re pampered and well taken care of.

Details:

Tuesday to Friday, in 9 week blocks we’re rolling out two exciting sessions daily. Home Care Package participants (9:00am-12:00pm) or an NDIS participants (12:30pm-3:30pm), we’ve got a slot just for you. Expect a kaleidoscope of exhilarating activities masterfully crafted to fit diverse abilities and comprehension. Dive in, explore, and let your spirit’s soar!

Day Option Activities

Life Hacks

Participants will improve their knowledge through fun and stimulating activities designed to develop life skills. Focusing on everyday essentials like- what to do in an emergency, good relationships and communication, maintaining good health, recycling, appreciation of other countries and cultures, budgeting and money handling, personal safety, and computer skills.

Master Cooks

Participants will improve their independent living skills by cooking various healthy meals. Learn about safe food handling and nutrition information. They will practice preparing and cooking a meal and making a recipe book.

Soothing Sesh

Participants will improve their well-being and learn self-care and regulation strategies designed to promote physical, emotional, and mental health, such as relaxation, meditation, reading, aromatherapy, and gratitude practice.

Music and Motion

Participants will experience music through listening, appreciation, and review: karaoke choir, instrumental improvisation, composition, themed discos, and dance

Green Thumbs

Participants will learn about seasonal plants and flowers. They will learn the skills to correctly pot, care for and grow their own vegetables and herb gardens. They will also get to work on their creativity and fine motor skills by decorating their own flowerpots for their gardens.

Outdoor Adventures

Participants will learn and work on their health and fitness by exploring various fun outdoor activities like nature walks and a range of popular outdoor sports.

Crafty Creations

Through a range of fun art mediums, participants will be able to enjoy working on their creative skills through painting, crafts, knitting, woodwork, jewellery making, floristry and much more.

Movers and Shakers

It’s time to get active with fun and energetic activities for all fitness levels. Participants will get to experience dance classes, various sports activities, yard games, nature walks, yoga, and bike riding. Suitable for all fitness types.
