Wittunga Botanic Garden
For something a little quieter, why not visit Wittunga Botanic Garden in Blackwood?
This 13-hectare garden combines Australian and South African plants and is particularly impressive during spring. Its Terrace Beds become a riot of colour, while ericas, proteas, banksias and other flowering plants provide plenty to discover.
Wittunga is also a lovely place to slow down. Wander around the gardens, sit beside the lake, listen to the birds or simply enjoy being surrounded by nature.
