Whether it’s 24/7 around the clock or casual care. Our team of trained professional support workers are here to help you or your loved one.
We will work with you or your loved one to assist in all the everyday tasks required to get through the day and help everyone involved feel comfortable, cared for and free to enjoy their lives.
Many of our team members have a personal connection to someone living with a disability, for some their child, a family member or friend. We feel this gives us a unique insight and connection with all the emotions and everyday experiences involved in caring for a loved one with special needs and understand the importance of finding the right person ‘for the job’.
Our services are available to assist those in their own home or out in the community. Helping to achieve a level of independence and dignity while utilising the many support services we have to offer.
A Case Manager assigned to you from KompleteCare will be there every step of the journey. There to work for you and help you. Assisting you with your NDIS reviews, identifying your needs or finding the right support worker for you.
Supports must be Reasonable and Necessary
The NDIS provides funding to participants for supports and services aimed at increasing their independence, inclusion, and social and economic participation.
Supports funded by the NDIS need to:
- be related to the participant’s disability.
- not include day-to-day living costs that are not related to a participant’s disability support needs.
- represent value for money; and
- be likely to be effective and beneficial to the participant.
Providers should not claim supports from a participant’s plan where the support is not in line with the participant’s goals, objectives and aspirations as set out in their plan or where the support is not reasonable and necessary. Providers should also not claim supports from a participant’s plan where the support is more appropriately funded or provided through other service systems. Further information on when support is considered reasonable and necessary can be found on the NDIS website.
